Candidate Kimberly Petterson District 10 House – “The data centers and the resource depletion that comes with their operations is the main issue in District 10.”
Candidate Lauren Nelson District 18 Senate – “Some people currently sitting on the county commission are so enamored with the promises of data centers, wind projects, and solar companies that they see them as the ‘end-all, be-all’ solution to the county’s woes. There is no consideration given to the long-term, unintended consequences the county will incur.”
Candidate Keith Miller District 1 House – “Invoking eminent domain as a private company has been the primary property rights issue in the last several years in my district.” (Keith’s schedule did not allow him to participate in the survey online, so he sent a written response to the questions.)
Candidate Jeff Church District 17 Senate” – “Our current state Senator and her consistent vote against Property Rights and her future being predicted by her history of voting wrong is the main issue in District 17.”
Candidate Austin Wolf District 6 House – “The biggest issue is rapid growth and the pressure it is putting on homeowners that live here., The growth is coming but are the people going to benefit from it or not.”

Candidate John Kunnari District 11 House – “Last winter SF went through a big struggle with a hyperscale AI data center. Three hundred people showed up at City Hall with over 65 people speaking. A number of us worked very hard for 20 days to put the decision to a vote of the people.”
Candidate Dylan Jordan District 4 House – “I live and work in Deuel County and we are the hotbed for the data center debate. I have been consistently against giving tax breaks to data centers.”
