South Dakota Property Rights & Local Control are Not for Sale.

South Dakota has become ground zero in the fight for two of our most fundamental rights – the right to own property and to have local governance. The out-of-state corporate interests with deep pockets taking our freedom to own property did not expect the effort to refer SB201 to succeed.  With unprecedented accuracy, the bipartisan effort of 500 volunteer circulators yielded more than 31,000 valid signatures in 90 days, sending the message that “our rights – and our state, are not for sale!”

The battle to defeat Referred Law 21 (formerly SB201) is just as important to downtown Sioux Falls as it is to a Brown County corn field or a property in the heart of the Black Hills. Read our FAQs here to learn why, then help spread the message to Vote ‘NO’ in NOvember on RL21, because:

South Dakota Property Rights and Local Control are NOT FOR SALE!

Way to Go, Volunteers!

Across the entire state, in every county from East to West, volunteers stepped up to gather signature after signature, to fill up petition after petition.  Gathering thousands of signatures in 90 days was a daunting task.  Make no mistake, however, South Dakotans from all walks of life are mad and they are tired of politicians selling out their rights and their liberties.  Our group of dedicated volunteers gathered over 34,000 signatures in 90 days!
