Candidate Stephen Saint District 30 House – “In District 30 the property rights issue is the increased pressure from outside interest and top down policies that override local control. This includes data centers and mining.”

Candidate Jana Hunt District 28A House – “Big picture: Corporate welfare in the name of economic development. This includes mining issues with Pete Lien, Summit Carbon Solutions with the CO2 pipeline and subsidized wind turbines & solar panels.”

Candidate Carl Perry District 3 Senate – “I think we are going to have a presence of large scale & infrastructure of data centers. Last year SB 177, I voted NO on that and it lost by one vote.”

Candidate Travis Ismay District 28B House – “Increased PROPERTY TAXATION is our biggest property rights issue in District 28 B. The state regulations on the counties has a lot to do with that.”

Candidate Mark Nelson District 24 Senate – “We currently have some wind farms and a fertilizer plant coming into Haakon County. They are being hurried in because the Feds want it, without understanding the consequences to the neighbors, the depletion of water resources and tying up of productive land.”
